A Lamp unto my feet...

Florida Sunset at foot level
...and a light unto my path...
God’s word has and continues to be a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. After much prayer the next step in my path does not include heading back to Kosovo. *Gasp* yes I too was surprised at this change of direction but I trust God in the direction He is setting my feet to go.  In April, Lord willing I will join some fellow CCM missionaries in the Philippines for further missions training. Because of the nature of their training school I will be somewhat limited on details that I can share here. Let us just say that it has to do with effectively ministering to the people that are of the religion first created by the descendants of Isaac’s brother. Ok Bible scholars…did that stump anyone? If it did just email me :) From this point on I will refer to those peoples as “our friends”.  It is just better all the way around for security reasons depending on where the Lord will next lead me.  That training will be 6 weeks in April and May.

In the meantime I am very blessed to be hosted and cared for abundantly by my sending church Calvary Chapel Murrieta. Also God has provided web marketing work with Mercy Projects (formerly known as Eastern European Outreach) as well as Carr and My Dad’s Workshop.  I am excited to be working with Mercy Projects  which has been supporting families in Kosovo since the war. The family that I stayed with is sponsored by them. I have let the family (in Chirst)  in Kosovo know that I won’t be heading back.  While we will miss each other we continue to keep each other in our hearts and prayers. Praise God that they all frequent facebook :) It is good to see God continue to work in their hearts and lives

What after the Philippines you ask? I do not yet know. The Lord continues to lead me “Hap pas Hapi” Step by step. Will you continue with me on this adventure? I hope so. I do so treasure your company!

Ymria here on my right
Prayer Requests
Kosovo-Ymria’s mother was just admitted to the hospital with what seems to be advanced cancer.  Ymria's father died of cancer years ago and this would leave the smaller children in her care along with her brothers who are young as well.
Finances- I am in need of regular monthly partners. Also the remaining of $2,000 needed for the upcoming training.
Future plans-Discernment to hear my Shepherd’s voice

Thanks Vickie! I was just asking Sheri about you who works for far reaching. Looks like I will be staying with her some in April. Small world! Thanks for the invitation. Are you involved the Rabuni Fi project at all?

Update on Ymria's Mom from the Harrys via Facebook-"the widow, Fatime, is not doing well. They are lining up blood for her and planning an operation maybe this week. She has a tumor in her stomach and we believe cancer there, in her breast and back. Her son is staying with her tonight and her daughter (Ymria) came back from the Bible college in Albania to be with her. They have no real income and we are afraid they will find the cancer is very advanced. Pray for her physical and spiritual healing, she is not a believer. Jeff prayed a short prayer for her today. Her son, some cousins and another believer from malisheve gave blood to help out today too."
